Humans have ensured that our voices are heard and our history never lost. Whether that be from drawing pictures on cave walls or making the front-page headlines in the daily newspapers.
Journalism is an ancient art that appears in various pillars of value. It is our belief that a core element of reporting is the dignity behind the writer and the passion behind the writing. Sometimes the world tries to silence our narratives, but never once have they been successful because those with the power to bellow will never stifle their words.
Do not underestimate the power, precision, and perseverance of a true writer, and at The Morton Collegian, we have a whole team of them ready and waiting for just about anything. The Collegian is dedicated to our beloved Morton College. We fight for its name and stand tall as we walk through its double doors. To put it simply, we’re proud of our history, we’re achieving our goals, and we’re only getting started. Morton College offers a grand education filled with incredible people, big opportunities, and even bigger stories. Our writers have a lot to say, and we’re prepared to shout it from the rooftops.
